Being Media is a company formed by people from different fields to create a seasonal publication Being Hong Kong, dedicating to tell the never-ending stories of Hong Kong. [website]

In 2022 Summer Issue, we focused on the 1980s to explore how the city transform herself into the Pearl of the Orient. It was the Golden Era in the history of Hong Kong. The Kowloon Walled City was also highlighted to deconstruct the charm behind this vanished complex, and how its dystopian imagination reassemble the city’s impression.
